    1. General Information

    DubaiBirds.ae operates as an online platform selling exotic birds, cages, accessories, and bird care services within the United Arab Emirates. By using this website, you agree to follow the terms listed on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 (Consumer Protection Law).

    2. Eligibility to Purchase

    By placing an order, you confirm that:

    • You are legally allowed to own the bird species under UAE law, including compliance with CITES regulations for protected species.
    • You are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian.
    • You understand the care requirements of the species you are purchasing.
    • You will comply with UAE Federal Law No. 16 of 2007 regarding animal welfare.

    3. UAE Pet Ownership Regulations

    The UAE has specific regulations regarding exotic bird ownership:

    • CITES-listed species require proper documentation and import permits from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE).
    • All exotic birds come with necessary health certificates and CITES documentation where applicable.
    • Under UAE Federal Law No. 22 of 2016, certain endangered species cannot be kept as pets without authorization.
    • Dubai Municipality may require registration of certain exotic bird species.
    • Abandoning a pet is an offense under UAE law and can result in fines up to 500,000 AED.

    4. Bird Health and Certification

    All birds are inspected by a certified avian specialist before sale. Health certificates and CITES documentation are provided where applicable.

    5. Orders and Payments

    • Orders must be paid in full before delivery or collection.
    • Payment methods: Bank transfer, cash on delivery (Dubai only), approved digital payment channels.
    • Prices are in AED and include VAT (5%) where applicable.
    • Transactions subject to UAE commercial law and consumer protection regulations.

    6. Delivery and Collection

    We deliver birds and accessories across all seven UAE emirates in climate-controlled vehicles by trained bird handlers.

    • Dubai: 50 AED (FREE on orders over 1,000 AED)
    • Sharjah: 100 AED
    • Abu Dhabi: 200 AED
    • Other Emirates: Contact us for pricing

    Buyers must be present to receive the delivery. A signature or confirmation is required upon handover.

    7. Returns and Health Guarantee

    Due to the nature of live animals, special return conditions apply:

    • 7-day health guarantee on all birds for pre-existing conditions.
    • 48-hour exchange window if the bird is not a suitable fit.
    • Returns for change of mind are not accepted after 48 hours.
    • Non-living products may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original packaging.

    8. Service Booking Conditions

    Services including bird boarding, adoption, and rescue are subject to specific conditions.

    9. Care Responsibility

    Once a bird is delivered, the buyer assumes full responsibility under UAE Federal Law No. 16 of 2007.

    10. Intellectual Property

    All content on DubaiBirds.ae is protected under UAE Federal Law No. 7 of 2002 (Copyright Law).

    11. Dispute Resolution

    Disputes will be referred to the competent courts of the Emirate of Dubai, UAE.

    12. Modifications

    DubaiBirds.ae reserves the right to update pricing, policies, or terms at any time.
