Why Dubai families buy from Dubai Birds

Every bird at Dubai Birds is hand-raised, health-certified by an avian veterinarian, and ethically sourced from approved breeders. We've delivered parrots, macaws, cockatoos, conures, cockatiels, and ringnecks across Dubai since 2018, with lifetime aftercare included on every sale — so when your bird's diet changes, when its first moult worries you, or when you need a vet referral six years from now, we're still your first call.

    What's available for Dubai buyers

The full Dubai Birds catalogue is available for delivery to Dubai: from a 550 AED hand-raised cockatiel to a 130,000 AED Hyacinth Macaw. Every species we list is in stock at our Warsan 3 aviary at the time of listing — we don't drop-ship from third parties.

    Cockatoos — Umbrella, Galah, Goffin's, Sulphur-Crested, Bare-Eyed, Major Mitchell's, Moluccan, Triton, Citron-Crested, Palm

    Delivery to Dubai

Same-day delivery is the default for orders placed before 6pm. Most of Dubai is within 30 minutes of our Warsan 3 aviary. Free across the UAE, and you only pay on arrival once you've inspected the bird and confirmed everything matches what we agreed.

The handover takes about 15 minutes: we set the bird up in your home, walk you through the first 48 hours of acclimation, hand over the health certificate and leg-band record, and answer any questions on the spot.

Buying from Dubai — what to ask any seller

If you're comparison-shopping in Dubai (and you should), the same five questions cut through every listing. Ask any seller:

1"Is this bird captive-bred or wild-caught?" — only captive-bred is acceptable; ask for the leg band as proof.
2"What's the bird's age and weaning history?" — birds should be fully weaned before sale; never accept an unweaned chick at a discount.
3"Can I see the avian-vet health certificate?" — and the date of the most recent check.
4"What CITES paperwork comes with this bird?" — required for Hyacinth Macaws, many cockatoos, and other Appendix I species.
5"What's your support after the sale?" — diet, behaviour, and vet questions don't end at the door.

We answer all five questions every time, and every bird leaves us with the paperwork to back the answers.

    Visit our aviary in Warsan

If you're in Dubai and the drive feels long, we're happy to send video walkthroughs of specific birds before you commit. But the strongest decisions are made in person — see the aviary, meet the bird, and decide. We're open seven days a week, 9am to 9pm, with free parking and dedicated hand-feeding sessions for serious buyers.

Coming from Dubai, we're a straight-shot drive — the route passes Mirdif City Centre and Dubai International Airport.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    How long does delivery take?
Same-day across Dubai when ordered before 6pm. Next-day to Sharjah, Ajman, and Abu Dhabi. 1–2 days to Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Al Ain. Delivery is free across the UAE.
How is the bird transported safely in UAE summer?
Climate-controlled vehicle, secured travel cage, sun-shielded route, and a handler who has done thousands of bird drops. We avoid mid-day handovers in July–August where possible.
    Can I pay on delivery?
Yes. Cash or card on delivery is the default. Bank transfer is also fine for high-value orders that need to be reserved before delivery.
What does each bird arrive with?
Avian-vet health certificate, leg-band ID, CITES paperwork (where applicable), and a 15-minute handover briefing on diet, cage setup, and the next 48 hours of acclimation.
How long does delivery within Dubai take from Dubai Birds?
Same-day across all of Dubai when you order before 6pm. Most areas — Marina, JLT, Downtown, Deira, Al Barsha, Mirdif, Dubai Hills, Arabian Ranches — are within 30 minutes of our Warsan 3 aviary. Outlying areas like Jebel Ali or DIP usually arrive within 90 minutes of dispatch.
Do you have a physical store anywhere else in Dubai besides Warsan?
No. We operate one aviary in Warsan 3 — that's where every bird is hand-raised, health-checked, and dispatched from. We don't run kiosks at malls or pet markets. If you'd rather not drive to Warsan, we'll deliver to you anywhere in Dubai for free.
What's the cutoff for same-day delivery to Dubai?
6pm is the firm cutoff for same-day delivery within Dubai. Orders placed after 6pm dispatch first thing the next morning. For very last-minute orders, message us on WhatsApp — we sometimes flex the cutoff for nearby areas like Mirdif or Al Warqa.
Can I visit the Warsan aviary before buying?
Absolutely encouraged. We're open 9am–9pm seven days a week with free parking. Walk-ins are welcome but pinging us on WhatsApp 30 minutes ahead means we can have the specific bird you're interested in ready for a hand-feeding session.
Does Dubai Birds operate at the Deira Bird Market or any pet souks?
No — we don't sell through Deira souk, Naif, or any of the legacy bird markets. Every bird is hand-raised at our own aviary in Warsan 3 with documented breeder provenance, leg-band ID, and an avian-vet health certificate. The souks are a different sourcing model that we don't operate inside.
Can I pay cash on delivery in Dubai?
Yes. Cash on delivery in AED is accepted across Dubai. We also take card on delivery via portable terminal, and bank transfer for high-value orders that need to be reserved before dispatch.
Are CITES papers transferred to a Dubai-based buyer at handover?
Yes. For every CITES-listed species (Hyacinth Macaw, Moluccan Cockatoo, African Grey, etc.) the original CITES paperwork is handed over at delivery in Dubai along with the avian-vet health certificate and leg-band record. Keep them with your records — UAE authorities can ask for them at any future re-homing or export.
What are the most popular birds among Dubai buyers right now?
African Greys lead by a wide margin in Dubai for talker households, followed by Indian Ringnecks (apartment-friendly) and Sun Conures (compact + colourful). Among premium buyers, Blue & Gold Macaws and Galah Cockatoos move the most volume from villas in Dubai Hills, Arabian Ranches, and Al Barsha South.
