Military Macaw

The Military Macaw is a large, primarily green macaw with a distinctive red forehead patch, white facial skin with fine dark feather lines, and bright blue flight feathers. Named for their military-green plumage, these impressive birds are known for their loyalty and strong bonding with their owners. They are intelligent, can learn to talk and perform tricks, and have a playful, sometimes mischievous personality. Military Macaws are social birds that require daily interaction, mental stimulation, and a spacious living environment. They can be vocal, especially during dawn and dusk, which is natural macaw behavior. With proper care and attention, they live 50–60 years and develop an incredibly close, trusting relationship with their family.
