Hahns Macaw

Hahn's Macaw is the smallest of the macaw species at just 30 cm (12 inches), but packs a huge personality into its tiny frame. These charming little macaws are predominantly green with a dark grey-black forehead and bright red wing linings visible in flight. They are known for being exceptionally playful, cuddly, and entertaining. Hahn's Macaws are excellent talkers for their size, capable of learning numerous words and phrases. They are ideal for bird lovers who want the macaw experience without the space requirements of a larger species. They are social, love to be held and petted, and can be trained to do various tricks. Their smaller size also means they are generally quieter than their larger relatives.
